Sony accepting application for PS Suite closed beta program
Sony has is now accepting applications for a closed beta test of its PlayStation Suite SDK. Windows XP and W7 users in Japan, the UK and US can now present their credentials for early access. Once accepted, develops will be able to create applications for PS Vita. PS Suite offers a cross-platform PlayStation-certified development and publishing environment, and is compatible with various devices such as various Xperia models, and Sony Tablets S and P, and possibly third-party devices. As part of the PlayStation Suite, Sony has announced the PlayStation Store for certified devices launches today starting with the Sony Tablet S in Europe and North America.

Yoshida “excited to see what kinds of games,” small developers create for PS Suite
Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has said that not only as NGP been in development since “beginning of 2008,” right around the time rumors starting trickling out, but that both triple-A “short form games” are in the works for the new handheld.
