Sony has announced a release date and pre-order bonuses for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The pre-order incentive is a set of costumes for all of the characters in the game, while two others will be revealed during SCEA’s Exhibition Presentation at EVO in Las Vegas this evening at 6.00pm PST. The game will release on October 23 in the US, October 24 in most of Europe, October 25 in Australia and New Zealand and October 26 in the UK & Ireland.

Seth Killian, former Capcom community manager and co-founder of the EVO fighting game tournament, has joined the external group at Sony Santa Monica as lead game designer, he’s just revealed via a blog post on the official PS Blog.

Sony’s released the first screens of the Vita version of PlayStation All Stars; Battle Royale. The handheld version was announced the Sony press conference on Monday and will come with cross-play support between it and the PS3 version. The new screens also show new characters, BioShock’s Big Daddy and Uncharted’s Nathan Drake.
