Project CARS updated with added dynamic lighting effects
Slightly Mad Studios have released nine new previews of their WMD-powered Project CARS title, showing off “the continued evolution of the title’s graphics engine.” Each preview shows new features which have been added to the title’s “dynamic time of day system” which allows players to race during any time of the day with realistic dynamic lighting, and sun and moon rendering. Spotlights which light up parts of the track while casting shadows on the environment have been added as well, and additional light sources from neighboring towns and trackside objects like grandstands are also included. You can join the crowd-sourced Project CARS for a one-time-only payment of €10 to become a Junior member. New screenshots are below.
