Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney drops in late November – rumour

The latest issue of Famitsu includes a back-page ad for Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, which has raised speculation over the 3DS title’s release date. According to those who already have their paws on the Japanese weekly, this time via Siliconera, the ad contains the mysterious number 6211 – which when turned around and squinted at, looks like 1129 – November 29.

Official word is still just 2012, with no western release confirmed.

Retailers suggest Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney headed west

Those wacky French retailers have done it again. This time, Cdiscount and La Fnac are insisting that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is headed to Europe for a December release. We have no word from Capcom on localisation plans for the 3DS crossover but, you know, we do have stars in our eyes and hope in our hearts, especially as this isn’t the first hint.
