GT5 loading times halved with SSD installation, says Phil
Some plucky chap called “Phil,” posting on the Beyond3D forums, has claimed that GT5′s infamous loading times can be cut in half by playing the game off a solid state drive.

GT5 ships 5.5 million units worldwide, series surpasses 60 million units shipped
Sony’s just announced Gran Turismo 5 has shipped 5.5 million units as of this past Monday, with the series as a whole passing 60 million units shipped.

Japanese software charts Nov. 22-28: Gran Turismo 5 moves over 430K units
Gran Turismo 5 debuted last week in Japan, and according to the Media Create figures for November 22- 28, it was a good week for Polyphony Digital and Sony.
