Pokemon Rumble U’s second wave of NFC figures have been revealed by The Pokemon Company. The figures can be scanned into the Wii U game using Nintendo’s GamePad controller, much like the figures in Disney Infinity or Skylanders.

Pokemon Rumble U trailer shows NFC figures in action

Pokemon Rumble U is the new downloadable game for Wii U that lets players scan in their Pokemon figures using the GamePad’s NFC tech, much like Skylanders and Disney Infinity. Nintendo has released a new trailer showing the scanning process, and game in action.

Pokémon Rumble U announced for Wii U eShop in Japan

Pokémon Rumble U, a downloadable for Wii U and the Nintendo eShop has been announced for Japan. This is the third set of spin-off titles to include the animated toys. The game contains every Pokémon available at present and up to 100 can appear on screen at once. The game is without a release date at present. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Pokemon Rumble U announced for Wii U Spring release

Pokemon Rumble U is the first game in the series to hit Wii U. It launches in Japan from Spring, but Japanese magazine CoroCoro has shed some details on the title.
