According to a survey conducted by UK website Playr2, of the 1221 parents who participated in the questionnaire with children aged 17 or younger, 64% said they didn’t check the ratings on the game box to see if the game was age appropriate for their children.

There’s footage after the break of the Resident Evil 5 mine level, taken from the recent Playr special on Bravo UK.

The footage wasn’t seen in the Brit TV show, as it’s used as a web-only promo on YouTube. Capcom’s Leo Tan provides the walk-thru.

Skipped this earlier, for some reason. The chaps from now defunct Gamer TV have announced a new Bravo games show, titled Playr.

The show’s in a similar vein to Gamer TV, so expect new, previews, and so on. It’s launching this week.

“It’s a good time to be launching television series about games,” said executive producer Richard ‘Double or Nothing’ Wilcox.

“We expect to reach around 100,000 gamers every week in the UK and many more than that on TV networks worldwide.”
