Super Smash Bros. Wii U has received a new screen from Nintendo, and it shows the game’s Pilotwings stage in action.
Super Smash Bros. is getting a Pilotwings stage from the looks of an image posted on MiiVerse.
Nintendo has released its weekly eShop update for Wii U and 3DS. SNES classic Pilotwings is soaring on to Wii U Virtual Console, while the 3DS gets a retail release of mega-crossover Project X Zone, as well as Sega classic Sonic Drift 2.
Pilotwings first hit SNES in Europe in 1992, and even today it’s awesome. Niinendo is giving the game away via Club Nintendo from now until October 28th for just 100 coins. So if you have any saved up, this could be a good way to spend them.
Next week’s offering of Nintendo downloads are gonna be great for fans of SNES, because the original Super Mario Kart will be released on Virtual Console for 800 Wii points ($8). Hooray.
