22Cans and Peter Molyneux have released a video, apologizing for technical issues with Curiosity: What’s Inside The Cube?. The video explains that the issues stem from server issues caused by a high volume of folks playing the mobile title. The team is working on resolving the issues, with the ultimate goal being users to log on instantaneously and for concurrent users to be able to perform block taps in actual real-time. Watch below.

Peter Molyneux may have just launched Curiosity: What’s Inside the Cube? on smartphone and tablets this week, but he’s not convinced by the way tablet devices are being used by Wii U and via Xbox SmartGlass. He reckons it’s a case of tech guys running wild with ideas without thinking of the logistics.

Peter Molyneux has discussed the love-hate relationship between developers and monetisation in a new interview, calling it a ‘disgusting’ discussion for studios to have. The developer’s indie studio 22 Cans has just this week launched its debut app Curiosity: What’s Inside the Cube? – a game which will soon include microtransactions.

Peter Molyneux will present an extended developer session at Eurogamer Expo 2012 on September 30. The session will be one of the last of the show and starts at 11.30am. Molyneux is just the latest session to be announced, with others from such luminaries as Hideo Kojima, Frank O’Connor, Lorne Lanning and more already announced.
