Konami’s announced that PES 2012 has sold 1 million units in Latin America since it launched last fall, with the game getting a reduced price on PS3, 360 and PC.

Konami’s announced a free DLC update for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 will drop next Tuesday, March 6 for PSN, PC and XBL. The patch will include the latest rosters following the January transfer window, new kits for the Spanish, Japanese and German national sides, eight new boot styles from Adidas and Nike and the matchball that’ll be used in this year’s Champions League final.

Konami has announced its will update update the team roster with current transfers in PES 2012 on October 11. The free downloadable update for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 will also update the skill parameters of players, and the kits of several club teams. In total, 160 clubs will be updated with more realistic stats and abilities. The DLC will also add 13 new styles of shoes to the game, with new makes from Adidas, Puma and Nike implemented, while the kit updates will see 29 teams brought in line with their current strips, including Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Konami’s announced that 3DTV support for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 has arrived for the game’s US launch in a day one update. The update also includes the beta to myPES, a brand new social network being introduced for the series where users will be allowed to exchange data between their myPES and Facebook, such as sharing results and posting them onto other users. The full version will “arious statistic, achievements as well as the ability to create private and public game groups.”

The full myPES rolls out next mont with 360 and PC patches. PES 2012 launches here in Europe on October 14 for PS3, 360 and PC. Via Shack.

Konami has released the second PES 2012 demo on Xbox 360, which also landed on PS3 this morning as well as PC. The demo gives player a full 10-minute match and introduces the Challenge Training mode. Teams included are FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club International. The first demo wasn’t released on Xbox 360 due to “issues on both sides”, meaning Konami and Microsoft. Hopefully, the second demo will make it up to you. PES 2012 will be playable at the Eurogamer Expo 2011 next week, and releases at retail in mid-October. The PSP and PS2 versions are expected for a late October launch.

Konami’s announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will be Pro Evolution Soccer 2012′s coverboy. The Real Madrid and Portugal international says he is “flattered” to be chosen as “the face of PES 2012, and by their reasoning behind the cover image.” There’s an image of the PS3 box below the break.

PES 2012 is out on October 14 for PS3, 360 and PC, with PS2 and PSP versions landing on October 28. It comes to Wii on November 4. Watch Pat pathetically play the demo here.

Konami’s announced it’s to release two demos of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 ahead of the game’s October release. The first demo, launching on Wednesday, is a preview build that isn’t representative of the final game: it’ll feature ten minute matches, with teams including Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, S.S.C Napoli, Santos FC, and C.A. Panaro. The second demo is more representative of the final game, featuring ten minute matches from teams such as Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Rangers, Club America and Sport Club Internacional in mid-September. Both demos will release on PSN, XBL and PC.

The full game launches on October 14 for PS3, 360 and PC, with PS2 and PSP versions launching on October 28.

EG’s announced that Konami will support this year’s Eurogamer Expo in Earls Court. The Japanese publisher, which now joins the likes of EA and Namco Bandai in attending the show, will have Silent Hill: Downpour and PES 2012 on the showfloor.
