Ghostlight has confirmed Persona 3 Portable is now available on the Australian storefront. Originally expected for a November release, the game has been made a bit early for folks instead.
It is currently available for the sale price of $34.95, but you’ll have to hurry as the offer only lasts until November 9. After that, it will return to its full price of $54.95.
The first game in Atlus’s RPG series, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, is also available on the Australian PS Store.

Good news for Antipodean JRPG fans – European publisher Ghostlight is planning to bring its entire catalogue to the local PlayStation Storefront.

Ghostlight has finally provided a PSN release date for Persona 3 Portable in Europe. It will run you £24/€30 for the first two weeks of availability, after which it will cost £28/€35. The UMD version of the Atlus RPG was released back in April.

Atlus has released a trailer for Persona 3 Portable over on the US PS Blog, and in a post to go along with it, Atlus PR superstar Aram Jabbari chats a bit about the Dark Hour.
Apparently, in Persona 3 Portable’s world, there’s a “hidden hour between the end of one day and the start of another” and you – the player – are one of the gifted few who can access it.
It’s all rather interesting, so you should check it out.
Oh, and if you are in the US and pre-order the game through select retailers, you’ll get a spiffy Persona baseball cap.
