Rumor: Perfect Dark gets pricing, possible release by February

According to a report over on Electronic Theatre, the Xbox Live version of Perfect Dark is “pretty much finished” and could see a release during “the last week of January” or in early February.

Rare’s just stuck up some new Perfect Dark XBLA shots, showing a bit more of Joanna doing the do.

New Perfect Dark XBLA screens compare old and new

Rare’s applied a bit (and only a bit) of its modern tech wizardry to the nine year-old Perfect Dark, and presto: no more wrinkles or gray hairs. Heck, you don’t even have to squint to see, well, everything anymore.

Perfect Dark theme lands on Xbox Live

The Perfect Dark theme Major Nelson tweeted about last night has landed.
It is only available to Gold members, is free, and only available for two weeks.
Still no word on when to expect the game.

Perfect Dark comfirmed for Xbox Live

Perfect Dark has been confirmed for XBL according to Major Nelson’s tweet.
“In the booth. Just saw Perfect Dark on XBLA running 1080p. It is coming to XBLA this winter. Free theme coming tomorrow!”

Perfect Dark XBLA – more rumours

Remember that Brazilian Microsoft presentation video that included a masked Forza logo? Well, according to this Destructoid piece, it also showed a Perfect Dark image at the top of a Live game list.
That’s it. If there is a God, Rare will announce its old shooters from XBLA at E3 and stop the madness.
