Dota 2 update beings usual slew of rebalancing
Dota 2 has been updated, but it’s not one of those charming patches with an obvious major feature or tweak. Instead, it’s jam-packed with a huge number of nerfs, buffs and other rebalancing foolery; the full patch notes are available on Steam for those able to parse the dense thicket of information.

New Super Mario Bros U upate to add Pro Controller support, in-app DLC
According to the Japanese version of MiiVerse, as noted by NeoGAF, New Super Mario Bros U will be updated when the New Super Luigi U DLC releases. The update will enable Pro Controller support and also allow you to pick up the new content directly from the game’s menus rather than having to exit out to the eShop. There’s no word on whether the patch is headed west yet.

Badland updated with ten levels
Developer Frogmind has updated its gorgeous mobile effort Badland with ten new levels. The free set of challenges is called “Dawn” and a further update called “Noon” is expected in late June or early July. Badland is available on the App Store at $4 or regional equivalent. It has attracted 150,000 players to date.

Crusader Kings 2: The Old Gods out now, prep with massive title update
Crusader Kings 2 gets its first major expansion today in the form of The Old Gods, which gives players the chance to explore cultures falling outside the core game’s religious flavours. It’s available through various digital distributors for $15, and in anticipation of its arrival Paradox has issued a huge title update for Crusader Kings 2, applying loads of fixes as well as prepping for the new content. Dishonored patch rolling out this week
Ahead of the release of the Knife of Dunwall DLC next week, Arkane Studios has prepared a title update for last year’s top-rated new IP debut, Dishonored. Patch 1.3 corrects a number of bugs in the base game and Dunwall City Trials DLC, most of which are rare but annoying little glitches that interfere with your well-laid stealth plans. Darkstalkers Resurrection patch due next week
Darkstalkers Resurrection will be patched on April. Producer Tomoaki Ayano revealed the update in a post on Capcom Unity; it will add fight request features to arcade and training modes as well as a number of bug fixes including a remedy for replay upload issues. Darkstalkers Resurrection is a compilation of the second and third games in the series, remastered in HD and available via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

Borderlands 2 OS-X updated at last, on sale
Mac port developer Aspyr has advised that it has released an update for the OS-X version of Borderlands 2. The patch adds leaderboards, achievements and “more importantly, multiplayer co-op with their Game Center friends”. Hopefully that last one means the much-touted cross-platform compatibility with PC is also back, having vanished thanks to a Gearbox update to the Windows version last year. Aspyr has also made DLC available as in-game purchases, and is offering 50% off the shooter RPG sequel on the Mac App Store.
