Painkiller: Hell & Damnation developer The Farm51 has opened up its hellish shooter to the community, by adding mod and Steam Workshop support into the mix. It’s also coming to Linux and Mac soon.

Nordic Games and The Farm 51 have announced that not only is The Clock Strikes Meat Night now available for Painkiller Hell & Damnation, but that five more content packs will be released throughout the year. As if that isn’t enough news for you, The Farm 51 is also working on a new project which is to be announced soon.

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation’s multiplayer is going free to play this weekend via Steam, and the game is also selling at 66% off.

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation – a remake and sequel to the original Painkiller launched on PC last year, and Nordic Games has just announced that the mad shooter is heading to PS3 and Xbox in April.

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is heading to PC on October 31st. The remake of the original sees Heaven’s Hitman Daniel Garner back in the saddle. Publisher Nordic Games has just revealed a slew of hellish screenshots and special edition information for the game’s launch. Check it all out below.

Painkiller: Hell and Damnation may be heading to Wii U, if internal documents from Nordic Games dug up by NeoGAF are any indication. According to the Google translation, as the original document is in Polish, “Farm 51 Group has obtained an official game development license for the Wii U… with plans involving production and release of new games in the “Painkiller” series for the Wii U.” While it hasn’t been set in stone, and should be considered a rumor for now, it’s still a possibility.
