Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition out now on Steam
If it were not suspiciously Friday I would be pulling a sickie right now, because Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition has dropped on Steam. The classic Eric Chahi adventure is two decades old and still one of the most atmospheric and interesting minimalist narratives in gaming, and you can have it on your Mac or PC for $10. It has keyboard and gamepad support which makes it almost infinitely superior to the iOS version, since I have that thing where touch screens refuse to respond to me. Mae karoomba.
Thanks, Destructoid.

Another World coming to Android
Eric Chahi’s classic adventure Another World is making the jump to Android. The 1991 platformer, variously know as Out of this World or Outer World, was ported to iOS in September to mark its 20th anniversary. No date was set for the new release, but when it hits the Marketplace, it will include variable difficulty settings, customisable controls, and OpenFeint support.
