Namco Bandai is bringing another One Piece game to 3DS in addition to the all-new Unlimited World Red. According to Gematsu, the second title is a port of 2012 PSP release Romance Dawn, which never made it to the west. Don’t hold your breath for either title to be localised this time, either; Romance Dawn hits Japan in August.

A One Piece PSP bundle has been announced for Japan, and if you are a fan of the series, you’ll probably like the looks it. We do at least. The One Piece: Romance Dawn – Dawn of Adventure Straw Hat Pirates Edition comes with a nifty-looking PSP-3000, a copy of One Piece: Romance Dawn, a custom PSP theme, nine Straw Hat Pirate wanted poster custom themes, and “a quest to fight the movie version of Kuzan/Aokiji,” according to Gematsu. Namco Bandai has announced One Piece Romance Dawn for PSP. The game will be a traditional RPG where the player will control Luffy, as they adventure through various One Piece worlds. As the character gains in level, his attributes such as speed, attack strength, and more can be customized. The combat system will make use of an icon-based menu system with options for attack, flee, item use, and offers more than just turn-based mechanics. The game was announced in Weekly Jump along with the first screenshot, and it’s the first One Piece game to grace the Sony handheld. One Piece Romance Dawn will be released this winter in Japan, and more details are expected at a later date. Thanks, Andriasang.
