Warner Bros. has delivered a stack of concept art for Double Fine’s Once Upon a Monster, the Kinect title based on Sesame Street. The creative team behind Psychonauts, Brütal Legend and Costume Quest tackled the difficult task of designing new monsters to match the Henson Group’s classic muppets, with impressive results.

Warner has released new gamescom screenshots for its Kinect title, Once Upon a Monster, in development from Double Fine. The Sesame Street-themed game is slated for release this fall on Xbox 360. Double Fine explains how it came up with Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster
Tim Schafer has said that Double Fine got the idea for Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster thanks to project lead Nathan Martz’s idea for an game with “cute, furry little monsters, making music and having fun.”
