Minecraft’s block-carrying Endermen: “A horrible idea”
Those scary new Endermen that were only just introduced to Minecraft have already had their powers turned down a notch (ha. Geddit?), which shouldn’t make them less terrifying, but will make them less annoying. Subtle difference, that – but a crucial one.

Quick Quotes: Notch on EA’s meeting with Mojang
“EA came to see us. I think they had plans, but picked up the vibe. Nothing’s been said since – it’s all very high politics. I play their games, and they make great games, but we are too far from each other. They can make their games, and I’ll buy them. We’ll make ours, and they can buy them. Not the property – that’s ours. But they can play it like everyone else.” – Minecraft creator Markus Persson on his meeting with EA CEO John Riccitiello, via Develop.

Humble Indie Bundle – now with extra Minecraft
Ah, humility. Sometimes, it earns you the respect and admiration of your peers. Other times, it makes you more pleasant to be around. Other other times, it gets you free stuff. This, happily, is the latter situation. The humblest of all known indie bundles (we can’t account for space or other dimensions) has introduced a free Minecraft pass to its already formidable lineup. From now until August 14, you’ll have your own set of keys to Notch’s block-by-block opus. So then, you should toss a few coins in the bundle’s cap. After all, considering that it’s earned more than $500,000 already, it has to be doing something right.
Thanks, Destructoid.
