NoA’s Direct Consumer Communications team merging with Redmond office
Nintendo is moving its North America Direct Consumer Communications team from New York City to its Redmond headquarters where it will be merged with its Network Business Department. NoA spokesperson Charlie Scibetta told Kotaku the move will help “provide better digital offerings and services for consumers.” Other Nintendo staff unrelated to DCC will remain in New York in a new, smaller office close to the Nintendo World Store.

Nintendo America Media Summit next week
According to Cubed3, Nintendo’s American annual Media Summit will take place next Thursday, April 10. The event is used to show off forthcoming games for the year, so it’s definitely one to watch. Kid Icarus is the favourite for a rehash this year, but, as the site points out, you’ll probabyl have to wait until E3 in July for any major announcements.
