Nintendo will host a 3DS specific Nintendo Direct on October 4 at 7.00pm BST/2.00pm EDT, according to Nintendo Life. It is to be hosted by Nintendo of Europe and you can watch it through the Nintendo Direct website or through the Nintendo Direct Ustream channel.

Nintendo has announced it will host another Nintendo Direct broadcast focused Dragon Quest X July 30 at 8pm Tokyo time, or 12pm UK. The free Dragon Quest X app will be released on August 22 in Japan, and available via a download code included with the Wii title. The game will include a Double StreetPass function. New Super Mario Bros. 2 will launch on 3DS in Europe on August 17, two days prior to its US release on August 19. New Super Mario Bros. 2 features a strong focus on Mario’s iconic gold coins; it seems it is all about the money, after all.

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, a new 3DS title in the popular, long-running puzzle series is also incoming, with the news that it will feature a new free puzzle every day for 350 days after launch.
