GAME now selling eShop codes
High-street retailer GAME has become the first retailer in Europe to sell Nintendo’s eShop codes online and in stores. The retailer is selling a number of Wii U and 3DS titles through its website, with six Wii U titles ranging from Singstar at £32.99 to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and New Super Mario Bros. U for £41.99.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge title update adds two new characters at launch
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge will receive a title update tomorrow when it launches in the UK, providing players with two exclusive playable characters in the Shadows of the World modes. These characters are Kasumi from the Dead or Alive series and Momiji from Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. Razor’s Edge will also be available on the Wii U eShop from midnight tonight, in case you want to skip out on the retail version.

Tecmo Koei Wii U titles all day-one digital – report
According to GoNintendo‘s interpretation of a 4Gamer report, all Tecmo Koei games released on Wii U in Japan will launch day-and-date on the console’s eShop. The three Japanese Wii U launch titles are all cheaper online than at retail, too – Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper (¥7,140 retail, ¥6,300 eShop), Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII (¥9,240 retail, ¥8000 eShop) and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (¥7,140 retail, ¥6,300). The Wii U launches in Japan in early December; it hits the US On November 18 and Europe on November 30.

Mass Effect 3 announced for Wii U
Mass Effect 3 was shown for Wii U during Nintendo’s E3 press conference inside a montage of third-party titles. While no one technically announced the title, it proved that earlier reports from the German Facebook page for the game were true. The montage also showed titles such as: Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Trine 2: Director’s Cut, Darksiders II, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge to be Wii U launch title
Siliconera reports Tecmo Koei has confirmed the Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3, subtitled Razor’s Edge, will be part of the console’s launch line up.
The Wii U version will feature touchscreen controls for slicing. A PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version is expected in February.
Nintendo is yet to date the Wii U but intends to show the final version of the hardware at E3 2012.
