“We are not currently working on a Wii U version of Crysis 3,” says Crytek

Crytek general manager Nick Button-Brown has taken to Twitter to say Crysis 3 is “not currently” coming to Wii U. Earlier this month, Crysis 3 producer Mike Read has said it’s possible the game could land on Wii U, as Cyrtek was “working with Nintendo” at present – but on what he wouldn’t say. He did, however, say he wouldn’t “rule it out.” Back in April, creative development director Rasmus Højengaard said there’s “not a fat chance” the game would appear on Wii U due. So, once again, to reiterate: it’s not “currently” planned, but it’s “possible”, and we have nothing more to add on our end. Keep hope alive, though. Thanks, NintendoLife.
