Report – 39 million MMO gamers in the US play SciFi, 68% prefer F2P
Newzoo has found that 36% or 14 million of 39 million active MMO gamers in the US play games that have a SciFi or Space theme, while in European and emerging markets, SciFi is less popular with 27% (9.5 million) and 26% (11.5 million) of all MMO gamers playing the genre.

Study – US gamers spent $25.3 billion on games last year
According to a study conducted by Newzoo and TNS, the US spent approximately $25.3B on games in 2009.
UK’ers spent around £3.8B.
