The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is getting a new Thaumaturge class by way of DLC, developer Neocore Games has revealed. I had to look up a book to find out what a Thaumaturge is – by book I mean ‘Google’ – and it’s an old Greek term for Miracle-Worker. There’s your fun fact for the day people.

Although the first one’s only been out since May 22, Neocore games has announced a sequel to The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. In a press release, as reported by PCGamesN, NeoCore said the defeat of the mad scientists in the first game only opened “the way to more sinister foes”. No further details were released except confirmation that the dungeon crawler is again set in Borgova.

Neocore Games has released a teaser video for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, its action RPG for PC and XBLA. The game stars the son of the famous vampire slayer running around a 19th century Europe overrun with monsters, magic, and weird technology. The game is slated for a late Q4 2012 release.

Paradox has announced the Steam release of Neocore Games’ King Arthur II: The Role-playing Wargame. In the second installment of the series, King Arthur is now the “Maimed King” trying to mend “a land torn asunder as he strives to heal himself.” During this time, the hero’s forces are pitted against unique and terrifying foes in huge, real-time battles featuring thousands of soldiers and flying fantasy monsters. Choices made by players will unlock special content, spells and units featuring “new and unique possibilities with every choice.” A launch trailer is posted below the break, and you can look of the game’s system requirements through the link.

Paradox has announced a demo for Neocore Games’ King Arthur II: The Role-playing Wargame is now available, and can be downloaded here. It will provide the player with a taste of what’s to come, allowing a play through the title’s tutorial and its first mission. Expect the demo to take around an hour to complete. King Arthur II – The Role-playing Wargame releases on January 27 on PC.

Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games have announced that those who pre-order King Arthur II through Steam and other participating digital outlets, will receive the strategy-RPG’s prologue chapter entitled Dead Legions for immediate play. King Arthur II releases January 10 on PC for $39.99. A video featuring footage of Dead Legions is posted below.

Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games announced today that the King Arthur Collection, revealed back in April, is now available for the suggested price of $29.99/€29.99. It’s a mix of RPG and Strategy, which includes the core game along with the Saxons and Druids expansions, and the DLC sets Knights and Vassals and Legendary Artifacts.
