A new video for Need for Speed:The Run has been released, showing cars racing through the hot Nevada desert. Due at the end of November, The Run is a story-driven race from San Francisco to New York, complete with short out-of-car cinematic quick time moments. Game’s out November 15. Thanks, EvAv.

EG’s announced two further additions to EA’s line-up at Eurogamer Expo. Both Mass Effect 3 and Need for Speed: The Run will both join Battlefield 3, FIFA 12 and Star Wars; The Old Republic at the show. Boom.
Eurogamer Expo takes place at Earls Court in London between September 23-26. Tickets are on sale here.

EA’s kicked off a new competiton where it’ll bring in two “spokesmodels” for Need for Speed ahead of the launch for The Run in November. Searches are being done in the UK, France, Germany, Norway and Russia. The winner will represent EA for the NFS brand at several racing events around the year, including the FIA GT3 European Championship and Euro Drift program. To those who enter, we salute you. Live demos of Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, SSX and Need for Speed: The Run will make up part of EA’s E3 press conference in two weeks time, its been confirmed.

Yesterday, a listing for Need for Speed: The Run popped up over on Shopto. Later, EA released the video for all to see. Today, the firm has confirmed the game’s details.
