EA hires Mark Trumell, squelches rumors over NBA Jam revamp
EA has hired NBA Jam creator Mark Turmell as senior creative director for EA Tiburon in Maitland, Florida, where the Madden and NCAA Football properties are located.

Rumor: EA to revive NBA Jam as a Wii-exclusive
We had no idea it was abnormal for professional basketball players to catch on fire until well-past our childhood years. Why? NBA Jam. Big heads, bigger dunks, and spontaneous combustion meant that NBA Jam could never be accurate – but damn was it ever fun. And now, according to ESPN‘s sources, the high-flying franchise is gearing up for a comeback.

Hidden Mortal Kombat ‘Kourt’ unearthered in NBA Jam
Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has revealed images of a hidden Mortal Kombat themed basketball ‘kourt’ (Kombat – Kourt – gettit?!) via twitter that was going to be unlockable in NBA Jam and until the man himself said no.
It’s got fire around it and skulls and everything. It’s totally awesome. We’re gutted he decided against it.
