The Last of Us soundtrack composed by Gustavo Santaolalla headed to Music Unlimited
In more The Last of Us news, the game’s soundtrack is heading to Sony’s Music Unlimited. It will be made available in a “few weeks,” meaning you should probably expect it when the game releases. To get a taste of what to expect, Naughty Dog has released a video featuring Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla who created the soundtrack. It’s the first time the composer has worked on a video game, and you can get an idea of what his process was like below. The Last of Us is out worldwide on June 14.

Music Unlimited adds classic game soundtracks
Sony Entertainment Network’s Music Unlimited service (formerly known as Qriocity) has opened a new category in response to popular demand. Player Attack reports the Game Music channel boasts an “expansive archive” of game soundtracks and will add new titles weekly, ranging from “massive blockbusters to cult classics” and kicking off with franchises like Silent Hill, Prince of Persia and Final Fantasy. Music Unlimited is available on a number of Sony devices including the PlayStation 3, and a 60 day free trial is avilable.

Music Unlimited PS3 to offer free two month trial
Sony’s opened up the gates to a free two month trial of Music Unlimited for PS3 to those who have a PSN account. The offer is available now for US account holders, but SCEE’s just tweeted it’ll open the offer here in Europe on December 22. Get a trailer of how the service works below the break.
