Xbox One will not support old Xbox 360 controllers or other devices, a Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed in a statement issued this morning.

Kinect is still a big deal over at Microsoft, as the company has just published a new job ad for candidates to help them take the motion-controlled tech to the next level. The advert also makes no secret that the team will “fail” at times, but that each failure leads to new ideas. It’s also a high-risk job, the posting states. See it in full below.

Red Bull Crashed Ice, an extreme sports party game based on Red Bull’s very own winter sporting event has been unveiled and is in development at Stoked studio Bongfish. The game will also be playable at PAX Prime next week.

Capcom’s confirmed that its Kinect-exclusive Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will be releasing on June 19 in North America and June 22 in Europe.
It also released a brand new trailer to go along which deals with the story of the game’s main protagonist Sgt. Power, and his platoon. You can check the trailer out after the break.

Microsoft has released a video, which shows all the various ways Kinect is being used, or in the process of being used for. It’s to celebrate the device turning a year old. Also the Kinect for Windows SDK beta has moved to stage two which adds “faster skeletal tracking, a better accuracy rate when it comes to skeletal tracking and joint recognition, and the ability to plug and unplug your Kinect without losing work or productivity.” The commercial program’s still slated for an early 2012 launch.
