Xbox One: Call of Duty Ghosts to support Kinect voice commands
Call of Duty: Ghosts will support Kinect voice commands on Xbox One, Activision’s Eric Hirshberg has confirmed. It’s not yet clear if you can ‘bark’ orders at the dog, but we can hope.

Xbox One: Microsoft aims for 1 billion lifetime sales, 100 million Xbox 360 units
Microsoft’s senior vice president of Interactive Entertainment Business Yusuf Mehdi has stated that given the broad multimedia focus of Xbox One, there’s no reason why it can’t shift between 400 million and 1 billion consoles in its lifetime. He said the company is also angling for 100 million Xbox 360 console sales in the next five years.

Steel Batallion: Heavy Armor release date announced
Capcom’s confirmed that its Kinect-exclusive Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will be releasing on June 19 in North America and June 22 in Europe.

Kinect anniversary video released, Windows SDK beta moves into phase two
Microsoft has released a video, which shows all the various ways Kinect is being used, or in the process of being used for. It’s to celebrate the device turning a year old. Also the Kinect for Windows SDK beta has moved to stage two which adds “faster skeletal tracking, a better accuracy rate when it comes to skeletal tracking and joint recognition, and the ability to plug and unplug your Kinect without losing work or productivity.” The commercial program’s still slated for an early 2012 launch.
