Greek start-up Monsters announced its first game today, the psychological thriller Hybris. An indie puzzle platformer with an unusual artstyle, Hybris has music from Journey composer Austin Wintory, and tells the story of a boy trying to survive in a night a forest after fleeing arguments at home. It’s intended as the first in a trilogy, and is due on Mac and PC in the third quarter, with more platforms to follow. You can see a couple of screens through the break, but be warned – highlighted letters in the press release spelled out the ominous message “they are coming”. Cue Twilight Zone theme.

Over on the US PS Blog, Sony has posted shots of monster artwork from Ballistic Publishing’s The Art of God of War III.

There’s a teaser video for The Secret World posted after the break. Apparently monsters are not too keen on people drinking shakes.

Massively’s got it, and has loads of extra goodies regarding the game through here.

It’s an action-adventure MMO with a time-line spanning 100 million years ago up to present-day.
