PlayStation executive expects Monster Hunter Vita this year
PlayStation France CEO Philippe Cardon has apparently confirmed a Monster Hunter game for Vita is due in the next few months.

Report: Monster Hunter Vita to arrive in Japan by second-half 2012
A Monster Hunter title is heading to PlayStation Vita, according to Nikkei Trendy, at some point in second-half 2012. The report claims (via GAF) that the series will arrive on the handheld but in what form isn’t known, meaning it could turn up as a spin-off like Portable 3rd, or Monster Hunter 4, currently a 3DS exclusive.

Monster Hunter 3G hits 1 million shipped in Japan
Capcom’s announced its shipped 1 million units of Monster Hunter 3G in Japan. The 3DS version of the 2010 Wii online RPG launched on December 10, selling 471,055 units in its first week. The series as a whole since its PS2 debut in 2004 has now sold 20 million units. The next main MH installment, Monster Hunter 4, will launch on 3DS, although when exactly is to be confirmed.

Monster Hunter 3G’s introduction gets videoed
Capcom has released a video featuring the introduction to its 3DS title Monster Hunter 3G, and you can watch it below. CVG described the video nicely when it said it contained: “rampaging beasts, absurdly large swords, and of course, cats dressed in armour hunting monsters underwater.” Indeed, that is the case.
Monster Hunter 3G is rumored for a fall release in the western part of the world.

Japan getting multi-coloured PSPs for Christmas
SCEJ just announced five new PSP bundles for Japan, featuring white, blue, black, red and Monster Hunter shades. See them on Kotaku.
The non-game bundles are ¥19,800 (US$219.50). The Monster Hunter Pack’s ¥18,500 ($205). They’re all out in December.

Doors to Capcom’s Monster Hunter Gathering Hall open July 3

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Gathering Hall will have its doors flung wide come July 3 at the Lazarides Gallery in London.
Three floors of space should be plenty of room for you to mingle and enjoy the free sodas, art, and people playing Monster Hunter on Ad-Hoc.
Hours of operation are from 10am to 8pm, seven days a week and will remain so until September 1.
The Gathering Hall is open to everyone providing they own a PSP and a copy of Monster Hunter.
