Monster Hunter Tri servers on Wii shut down today
The Monster Hunter Tri servers on Wii will be shut down today. The closure was announced in January, so if you want to get in a quick multiplayer match you best be quick about it. The closure is in order to shift focus and resources over to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which launched on Wii U earlier this year. Thanks, Nintendo Life.

Capcom has announced it will be shutting down the Monster Hunter Tri servers for Wii. The closure is in order to shift focus and resources over to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which launches in March The Monster Hunter Tri servers will be shut down on April 30.

Capcom refuses to comment on Monster Hunter Tri PSP
Capcom’s refused to say anything on the rumour circulating that Monster Hunter Tri is heading to PSP at the end of the year, saying it wont comment on “rumour and speculation”.

Capcom confirms early 2010 western release for Monster Hunter Tri
Capcom will launch Monster Hunter Tri in North America and Europe in early 2010.
The publisher also announced it’s bringing the Wii title to GamesCom in a couple of weeks, so visitors can try a localised version for the very first time.

Monster Hunter Tri ships 1 million units
Capcom’s confirmed that Monster Hunter Tri, the latest in the unstoppable co-op RPG series, has now shipped more than 1 million units for Wii.
The IP in total has now shipped more than 10 million units.
Expect to see a Monster Hunter-Dragon Quest face-off in the Japanese charts in the next few weeks. Looks as though the former’s going straight in at the top.
