As reported by Andriasang, Namco Bandai has announced that voice recording for tactical RPG Project X Zone is almost complete. Over 70 voice actors are involved in the Capcom, Sega and Namco Bandai collaboration, which is of particular interest because the publisher is yet to confirm how many characters will appear in the final game. Project X Zone launches in Japan later this year; a western release has not been confirmed.

Epic Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles has turned up outside of its “exclusive” distribution channels.

Nintendo’s released a new US-based trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles ahead of the RPG’s release in the country in April. The video shows a meaty chunk of gameplay and menus, which is about it. Still, if you’re looking for The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower to be released stateside, you may want to buy this. Get the video below the break, via Joystiq.

Nintendo’s announced that the European release of Xenoblade has been brought forward from its original September 2 date. The Monolithsoft RPG will now launch on August 19. Nintendo’s also said that the Classic Controller Pro bundle for the game is in limited supply, and that those interested should pre-order now before it’s too late. So get to it.

Xenoblade developer Monolithsoft is making a Wii U title, according to job listings posted by the developer. It’s well known it’s working on a secret project, according to Andriasang, but this is the first time a platform has specified for it. There’s more details on it at the link.

Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii is due later this year for Wii in Europe.
