Frozen Synapse hitting iPad in May, Android later
Frozen Synapse will land on iPad in May, according to Mode 7. Announced at the end of 2011, the game will contain Cross-play between iOS, Android, Mac and PC versions and players will be able to start playing on one system and resume their game on another. The Red DLC which adds co-op and new missions will also be made available. The Android tablet release will occur after the launch on iPad. Thanks, Joystiq.

Frozen Endzone video mixes robots, electronica and football
Mode 7, the developer of Frozen Synapse, have announced Frozen Endzone which Eurogamer aptly described as a “American Football meets robots meets Frozen Synapse.” We tend to agree after watching the trailer, which we’ve posted below.

Frozen Synapse: Collector’s Edition lands in the UK exclusively next month
A Frozen Synapse: Collector’s Edition will be released in the UK next month. It contains the core title which is compatible for both PC and Mac, includes the soundtrack, a Steam key to hand out to a pal, a sticker and a postcard wrapped up in a special box. Also included is the Red expansion pack which includes co-op, new missions, a new mode and a new game unit. Frozen Synapse: Red expansion out now
Tactical battler Frozen Synapse has spawned a new expansion, Red, which includes 15 single-player campaign levels, an extra unit, and an entirely new multiplayer mode. Although there’s a pile of new content, you don’t need the pack to play with those who have it, and vice versa. Grab the expansion for $10 through directly through Mode 7 or on Steam, or hit the break for a list of the contents and a trailer.
