Mini-games shown off in latest trailer for Yakuza: Dead Souls

yakuza's love baseball

SEGA has released a new video for Yakuza: Dead Souls showing some of the mini-games you’ll be participating in when you take a break from bashing zombies in the face. You’ll notice in the video that your character can participate in a bit of blackjack, fishing, roulette, bowling, darts, ping pong, dancing and even try your hand at cracking baseballs in a batting range. If that still sounds a bit too strenuous, how about unwinding in a hot tub or visiting a Hostess Club? The choice is yours. Yakuza: Dead Souls releases on March 13 in North America, March 15 in Australia and March 16 across Europe, exclusively for PS3.

Good for Nintendo.

Behemoth’s “third game” may show PSN and Wii users some love

behemoththing1

Behemoth’s John Baez has hinted in a Gamasutra interview that PS3 and Wii users may not be left out in the cold when it comes to the indie developer’s “secret third game”.

While Baez did not confirm any platforms in the chat, the article hints at the possibility of a multi-platform release due to the company owning licenses for PSN and WiiWare.

The only cat Baez let out of the bag was that the game’s a multiplayer affair releasing sometime next year.

Hopefully we’ll have a name for it by then.
