Penny Arcade seeks crowdfunding to go ad free
Gaming culture webcomic Penny Arcade has launched a Kickstarter with no tangible rewards, instead giving readers the opportunity to pay to keep advertising off the site.

Avenger creators donate $10,000 to Child’s Play
N-Control, creators of the Avenger, an external adapter which houses an Xbox 360 controller boatsing the ability to improve reaction time and more fluid movements, has donated $10,000 to Child’s Play, and has pledged to donate $50,000 worth of Avenger accessories should the charity “find a need for it” and plans to continue donating to Child’s Play in the future.

PAX attendance nears 70,000, third event hinted at
PAX Prime saw 67,600 attendees through its doors in Seattle last weekend, and it sounds as though Mike and Jerry aren’t done yet.

Penny Arcade founders land on annual TIME 100
The voting is complete for Time magazine’s top 100 most influential people, and on it in the artist section are Penny Arcade founders Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik sitting at number 14.
