Respawn’s Zampella, Sony’s Hocking to headline 3D Gaming Summit in California
Organisers of the 3D Gaming Summit in Hollywood have confirmed that Respawn boss Vince Zampella will be a headline speaker at this year’s event on September 22. Sony WWS 3D boss Mick Hocking will also be attending the event as a feature speaker, giving a talk on “The First Year of 3D on PlayStation 3.” More details on IndustryGamers.

3D’s been one of the main talking points in the industry this year alongside motion controls.
One of the big advocates of the tech is Sony, who have been showing some of its games in 3D on the show-floor here this week at gamescom, like Killzone 3 and Gran Turismo 5, just to name a few.
