505 Games has announced Michael Phelps – Push the Limit for Kinect on Xbox 360.

Michael Phelps and 505 have confirmed a partnership to make games based on the all-star Olympian.

The first game in several is to be released for consoles and iPhone in 2010.

“I am really excited to partner with 505 Games and work with them to develop a game that is reflective of my personality, lifestyle and competitive nature,” said Phelps.

“I believe this will be a tremendous opportunity to help continue my quest to raise the profile for the sport of swimming.”

Last night’s 60 Minutes – a profile on Olympic mega-swimmer Michael Phelps – apparently mentioned that a game based on the aquatic legend’s in the works.

No other details were given.

Michael Phelps is the Tiger Woods of the swimming world: he’s a fucking winner. So if there’s a game with his name on it, we’re buying. End of.
