Metal Gear Solid Touch demo out now

A Metal Gear Solid Touch demo’s been release on the App Store. And here it is.
There’s three levels in there for you, so you should probably play it. You can upgrade to the full version for very little money, if you like it.

Metal Gear Solid Touch now available for iPhone and iPod

The full version of Metal Gear Solid Touch is now available on the Apple App Store.
Set in the world of MGS4, the extra part of the game introduces eight additional gameplay levels to the original release.
The story unfolds in five chapters over 20 stages, and the characters featured in the latter eight stages feature new abilities.
Once all 20 stages have been cleared, a Survival Mode is unlocked, and lets players skip the story images and play stages consecutively without replenishing their life gauge.
Players who have already installed the initial game can update to the complete version for free.
Press release after the break.

Kojima may do another “crazy” iPod/iPhone game

Hideo Kojima’s said he may do another iPod/iPhone title after the “success” of Metal Gear Solid Touch.
Hold onto that hat, though: this time it could well be something “crazy”.
From this G4 report of the developer’s visit to San Francisco’s Apple Store following his GDC keynote:
Finally, Kojima is open to doing another iPhone/iPod Touch game, but it might be something completely “crazy.” One of Mr. Kojima’s favorite apps is the lightsaber app. He would also like to do something that uses even more of the unique capabilities of the iPhone platform. For example, say you listen to a lot of Coldplay (his example, not mine)… if you then listen to Coldplay while controlling Snake, he might fight better. Interesting stuff.
Sounds mental. More through there.

GDC: Kojima to make Apple Store appearance

Apparently, after Hideo Kojima’s GDC 09 keynote today, he’ll be making his way over to the local Apple Store in San Francisco.
Unsurprisingly, he’ll be talking about Metal Gear Solid Touch, for iPhone.
If you’re in San Francisco right now and want in on the Kojima action, then the Apple Store can be found here.
Everywhere he goes, there’s news. That’s why we love him.
Thanks, Kotaku.

Metal Gear Solid Touch gets more shots

On IGN. Snake’s first iPhone excursion looks pretty good, to be fair, what with all its shooting, and such.
There’s no release date confirmed yet, but you’ll be duty-bound to buy it if you’re an iPhone owner. Beats looking at badly-realised share graphs all day.
Take a look.
