LitleBigPlanet Karting is “real,” first promo image emerges
Following a report based on a tweet from a US retailer last night, the first, grainy promo image of LittleBigPlanet Karting has appeared.

LittleBigPlanet franchise have over 6 million user-generated levels and games
Sony has announced more than 6 million user-generated games and levels have been uploaded onto the PlayStation Network for the LittleBigPlanet franchise. To celebrate the milestone, XDev Studio Europe posted the latest LBP newsletter on the EU PS Blog, along with a reminder for the Vita Room event happening in London from February 17 through through February 23. The event allows attendees to get hands-on time with the new device as well as LBP Vita. The new handheld launches February 22.

Ezio costume for Sackboy hitting LBP2 on November 15
Media Molecule has announced that on November 15, a new Ezio costume for Sackboy will be made available in LittleBigPlanet 2 to help celebrate the launch of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. You can have a larger look at the cute fella below.
The studio has also made Sackboy styled wallpapers for Uncharted 3, and posted a reminder to Drakeify your fella with the costume currently up for grabs through the store.

PSA: LBP2 Move pack hits US PSN, Move peripheral 50% off at GameStop
Double good news on the Sony front today: the LittleBigPlanet 2 Move pack has landed on US PSN for $9.99 and Move peripherals are on sale at GameStop at 50 percent off. The former gives you Move compatibility, five levels, seven side-games, tons of tools, Move Paint and new costumes to name a few. The later, is a sale on the Move Motion Controller, the Move Navigation Controller, the Move Charging Station, and the Move SharpShooter which are all on sale until October 2 while supplies last. LBP2 update 1.06 live, contains Move support
It looks as though the Move patch for LittleBigPlanet 2 is live. According to a post over on NeoGAF, the download hits around 568MB, and includes more than just the Move update.

LittleBigPlanet image teases “something awesome” inbound
This was posted on the official LittleBigPlanet forums earlier. The image reads “Something Awesome is Coming.” What that actually is, we’re clueless, but we reckon this may not have anything to do with the upcoming Move content pack that’s coming in a couple of weeks. Let the guessing begin.

Media Molecule-Harrison keynote to headline Develop
Develop organisers have announced that the opening keynote of the event, a chat with LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule and ex-SCE WWS head Phil Harrison, will be the main headliner later this month. Harrison, who first brought the company to Sony’s attention, will interview co-founders Alex Evans, Mark Healey and Kareem Ettouney for a session called “Living Inside a Molecule” on July 20.
Develop takes place in Brighton between July 19-21.
