Physical and digital forms of Mass Effect 3 PC to require Origin
Bioware’s Chris Priestly has confirmed on the firm’s forum that Mass Effect 3 on PC will, as suspected, require Origin and will not “initially” be made available on Steam.

Mass Effect 3 videos show off pre-order bonuses, new screens
Bioware has released a couple of new videos showing off Mass Effect 3 pre-order goodies, such as the N7 Defender Armor, the N7 Valkyrie, the M55 Argus Assault rifle and the AT12 Raider Shotgun. There’s also a new set of screenshots for the game posted below, courtesy of RPS. ME3′s out for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on March 6 in the US and March 9 in the UK. Thanks, EvilAvatar.

Watch a Thresher save Shepard’s skin in latest Mass Effect 3 video
Bioware released a new video for Mass Effect 3 tonight, which received its world premiere during the VGAs. In it, Commander Shepard is trying to escape being obliterated by a Reaper when a Thresher Maw bursts onto the scene, inadvertently saving his life. It’s pretty intense to watch, and you can do just that below the break. There’s also a few screen grabs through here. Mass Effect 3 is out in March on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. A demo is set for release in January, with Battlefield 3 players getting the first crack at it.

Internal beta for Mass Effect 3 accidentally leaked through XBL fall preview
An internal, private beta for Mass Effect 3 was leaked onto Xbox Live yesterday, giving users participating in the XBL fall update preview a look at a rough version of the game.

PC Digital Deluxe version of Mass Effect 3 is exclusive to Origin
In the most obvious news you will see today, probably, EA has revealed Origin will be the “exclusive source” for the N7 Digital Deluxe version of Mass Effect 3.
