Mass Effect 3′s upcoming Wii U port is the product of one Straight Right, the Melbourne-based developer confirmed on its Facebook page today. Straight Right is also behind the iOS version of Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. The Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 is undated, even as the console itself, for which it will be a launch title.

Leviathan, the latest DLC for Mass Effect 3, has a new trailer. It’s below, and shows the intrepid Commander Shepherd jumping into the ocean, hitting bottom, and seeing something he probably shouldn’t have – and we’re not talking about talking sponges sporting slacks. The Leviathan DLC will release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 August 28.

Leviathan, the latest DLC for Mass Effect 3, will release on August 28, according to an announcement from BioWare. The Leviathan DLC will add additional dialogue to the controversial ending of the action-RPG, according to a Eurogamer report posted earlier this month. Leviathan will release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Bioware has release a set of screenshots for the Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC. More information on it can be found here, although there isn’t a date yet. However, August 7 is when the Firefight Weapons Pack releases, so at least it’s something to look forward to.

The rumored Leviathan DLC which popped up in the Extended Cut files for Mass Effect 3 has been confirmed by actor Anthony Skordi who said he will lend his voice to the Reaper named Leviathan. BioWare is set to announce new Mass Effect DLC at Comic-Con panel on Saturday. Head over to Eurogamer for the full thing, but be aware there may be spoilers.

The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled EA did not practice in false advertisement when promoting the fact players’ choices would influence the ending of Mass Effect 3. The firm found the endings in the game to be “thematically quite different,” and while it was aware players felt they didn’t influence the ending as much as was advertised, it was enough for the complaint to be dismissed. The ASA’s decision was based on the three choices at the end, and the effectiveness of said ending based on the EMS score of the player. After Mass Effect 3 was released, players lodged complaints with the ASA claiming EA has dabbled in false advertisement as many felts BioWare did not provide a more satisfying ending based on player choices during the entire trilogy. The Mass Effect 3 Resurgence multiplayer event is going on as we speak, and you can get an idea of what it contains in the video below, in case you’ve yet to join the fray. Over the weekend, the two new maps, Firebase: Condor and Firebase: Hydra, will hand out 10% more XP than usual for all involved, and anyone who owns the Resurgence Pack receives something special, like possibly one of the new game classes. Operation Resurgence ends Monday at 5:00AM PDT/8:00AM EDT on PC and Xbox 360.
