Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Impact, started yesterday. It looks as though recent losses has resulted in the implementation of troop reinforcements from “unorthodox sources.” These teammates are versed in anti-Reaper tactics, apparently. Apparently, the number of Banshees on the battlefield has increased, and your job is to remove as many Banshee bodies as possible for analysis. Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Nightfall, is happening as I type. In the event, Reaper-controlled geth has flourished in pockets outside of the Perseus Veil, so your task is to eliminate the geth offensive before it becomes a bigger issue. Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Geronimo, is live. In the event, Reaper units are identifying and targeting medics, so training in battlefield medicine for all N7 soldiers has commenced – regardless of specialty. Players will be tasked with delivering emergency care on the battlefield, in order to “confuse and frustrate the Reapers into abandoning their strategy.” The individual goal this time out, is to earn any first aid medal on any map, at any difficulty. Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Genesis, is live. Apparently, casualties and battle fatigue “have worn down” some of the vest units, so soldiers whose tours of duty have been hyperextended are being cycled out, according to Bioware’s post on the matter. The individual goal for the weekend is to extract twice: once as a base male human and once as a base female human on any map at any difficulty. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Alamo, is live and it looks as though the Reapers are making a push for Menae. Alliance Intelligence seems to think the Reapers are luring the forces into “committing large-scale defenses to the moon that they will wipe out.” The counter-strategy is to insert small, stealth units in order to conduct disruptive offensives and hold the firebase. The team goal is to earn the “Survived 5 Waves” medal on the Firebase Condor map at any difficulty with extraction not required. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Get more information here.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Onslaught, is live an there’s been a shortage of specialized weapons on several fronts. In order to combat the issue, population centers “must be reclaimed” in order to rebuild munitions factories. The individual goal for the weekend is to earn 75,000 points of damage using an assault rifle on any map at any difficulty. Points are cumulative across matches, and extraction is not required. Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Detonator, is live and looks as though recent setbacks have “prompted changes in unit composition.” According to Bioware: “Turian cabal theory is now dominant training paradigm. N7 units will now be deployed with pairs or higher percentages of biotics wherever available to maximize effectiveness.” Whatever that mean. Surely Mass Effect 3 players are well-versed in it. The individual goal this time out is to earn 20,000 Biotic Explosion points on any map at any difficulty. Players will need to kill the enemy with the explosion for the points to count. Points are cumulative across matches. Extraction not required. Enjoy.

Mass Effect 3: Omega launches today, and its been hailed by Bioware as the largest expansion to date for the action-RPG; however, it wasn’t originally four hours long nor 2GB in size, according to producer Fabrice Condominas.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Gearhead, went live last night and it looks as though hostile forces are hellbent on destroying strategic capabilities by targeting technical experts. The individual goal this time out is to earn 75,000 points as any engineer class and extract three times as any engineer class on any map at any difficulty. Those who succeed will receive a Commendation Pack. That’s it, so good luck engineers. Godspeed.

Mass Effect 3: Special Edition for Wii U has a video available below, showing what’s in store for players when the series debuts on the new Nintendo console. The game makes use of features and content that “fully take advantage” of the console’s hardware, and the GamePad can be used to issue commands and perform attacks. Bonus content includes an additional mission and squad member, an exclusive new weapon, the Extended Cut ending, and an interactive backstory experience. Mass Effect 3: Special Edition is due on Wii U November 18 in the US and November 30 in Europe.
