Don’t expect Master Chief to make a cameo in Gears of War 3
Halo’s iconic Master Chief character isn’t likely to make a multiplayer appearance in Gears of War 3, according to Epic Games’ main designer Cliff Bleszinski: Microsoft’s too “squeamish,” apparently.

Bungie: “Immersion was the main goal” in creating Master Chief
Bungie’s lead writer Joseph Staten has said that when the developer was creating the character of Master Chief for Halo, “immersion” was key to what he would become.

Bungie considered making Halo 4 instead of Reach
Bungie’s Brian Jarrard has said that at one time the developer considered making Halo 4 starring Master Chief instead of Reach.

More Master Chief may be in Halo’s future
Frank O’Connor has hinted to USA Today that there may be more of Master Chief in Halo’s future.
Speaking mainly about Halo 3: ODST being more than just an add-on, Frank let slip something about the hero of the Halo saga.
“I doubt we have seen the last of Master Chief,” he said.
Going back to ODST, he went continued:
“It’s a lot of game. You play the game through the point of view of an ODST. They are dropped into combat from orbit. They have a rivalry with the Spartans that is well known to the fans of the fiction. We finally let you into their boots as it were. …It’s kind of a detective story in a way. But it is much more action-packed than that.”

Master Chief is playable in Fable II – screens
Fable II review code is in the hands of journos now, and this is the result: Master Chief is shown in these DailyGame.net shots as being a playable character in the RPG.
We already knew the Halo protagonist was going to be in the game, but, well, now we know you can play as the funny green spaceman.

Master Chief included in Fable II
As part of the announcement last night that Fable II is to launch on October 21 in the US and October 24 in Europe, Microsoft’s released a screen of Master Chief in Fable gear, being all green and such.
That’s it. Fanboys go wild.
Xbox One 24 hour check-in, used policies, more dropped
