BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk has said putting Mass Effect Galaxy on the iPhone was a “mistake”.

BioWare has twittered that a performance enhancing patch for “lower-end devices” is in the works for Mass Effect Galaxy.

“In the next 10 days there will be a ME Galaxy patch on iTunes. Estimated 50% performance boost for lower-end devices with the patch,” reads the tweet.

If you haven’t played MEG yet, we can heartily recommend it; you shoot stuff and everything.

AppGamer’s reporting that those finishing Mass Effect Galaxy, the BioWare iPhone spin-off released yesterday, will get a reward for doing so in the upcoming Mass Effect 2.

Which doesn’t release until early next year. But still. See proof through the link.

EA’s released Mass Effect Galaxy, the iPhone bridge between the franchise’s first and second games.

BioWare just went live with the first proper images and details from its iPhone Mass Effect game, Mass Effect Galaxy.

The title tells the background stories of two characters encountered by players in Mass Effect 2. The events of Mass Effect Galaxy take place between the time of Mass Effect and its sequel.
