Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Heartbreaker, started yesterday. Apparently, the number of Banshees on the battlefield has increased, and your job is to remove as many Banshee bodies as possible for analysis. The individual goal is to earn 20,000 points killing Bansheesm and your reward is a Condemnation Pack. Hit up the Bioware blog for more information.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Nightfall, is happening as I type. In the event, Reaper-controlled geth has flourished in pockets outside of the Perseus Veil, so your task is to eliminate the geth offensive before it becomes a bigger issue. The individual goal is to earn 50,000 points against the geth trooper as any quarian kit. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Get more details through the Mass Effect 3 website.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Firestorm, is live. In the event, the Reapers have changed their tactics to keep from being “whittled down.” As areas are conquered, their fighting groups become fewer yet larger, “making them more difficult to assail.” Your job is to deliver as much damage as possible before evacuation. The Squad Goal is to earn the “Killstreak 3” squad medal – kill five enemies together three separate times. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Get more details through here.

Mass Effect 3 is being patched today, a post on the BioWare Social Network announced. Although these times are approximate, the PlayStation version rolls out at midnight PST and will be followed by the Xbox 360 update at 1:00AM PST. The PC trails behind at 10:00AM PST. The patch fixes a multiplayer bug which allowed inappropriate use of missile ammunition and a memory issue related tio loading DLC.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Ballistic, is live. In the event, Recon has reported that there are many Reaper creatures out there running about the place, and they must be culled. Players will be tasked with destroying husk-creation mechanisms like Dragon’s Teeth, with the individual goal being to earn any gold weapon medal. Players can use the Assault Rifle, Heavy Pistol, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, or Submachine Gun to accomplish this. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Get more details through the link.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Geronimo, is live. In the event, Reaper units are identifying and targeting medics, so training in battlefield medicine for all N7 soldiers has commenced – regardless of specialty. Players will be tasked with delivering emergency care on the battlefield, in order to “confuse and frustrate the Reapers into abandoning their strategy.” The individual goal this time out, is to earn any first aid medal on any map, at any difficulty. Mass Effect 3 is scheduled for a maintenance window tonight. The game’s Twitter feed advises that “impact should be minimal”, suggesting it might still be possible to play during the three hour session, which kicks off at midnight PST. It’s not clear what the maintenance will address although BioWare’s constant addition of new content to the near year-old multiplayer title has raised (my) hopes for a new DLC pack or set of classes, weapons and challenges.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Genesis, is live. Apparently, casualties and battle fatigue “have worn down” some of the vest units, so soldiers whose tours of duty have been hyperextended are being cycled out, according to Bioware’s post on the matter. The individual goal for the weekend is to extract twice: once as a base male human and once as a base female human on any map at any difficulty. The reward is a Commendation Pack. GDC organizers have announced more programming and design sessions for GDC 2013. The first focuses on programming AI and NPCs in Hitman: Absolution, and will be hosted by IO Interactive’s Mika Vehkala and Maurizio De Pascale. A design track from BioWare’s Dave Feltham will discuss bringing narrative to Mass Effect 3, and finally, GREE’s Aaron Bannin will host a postmortem on Kingdom Age where he will discuss the use of data for “numbers, analytics,” and more. GDC 2013 runs March 25-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The BioWare Blog advises that the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is going on its annual hols from December 21, meaning there’ll be nobody to host N7 Bounty events on the weekends of December 28 and January 4. But before staff turn off the lights and put the chairs on the tables, it’s switched on all hazard maps, added two new card packs, and unlocked three new characters – the Drell Assassin, Batarian Slasher, and Volus Protector. Nice.

Mass Effect 3′s latest N7 Bounty Weekend, Operation Alamo, is live and it looks as though the Reapers are making a push for Menae. Alliance Intelligence seems to think the Reapers are luring the forces into “committing large-scale defenses to the moon that they will wipe out.” The counter-strategy is to insert small, stealth units in order to conduct disruptive offensives and hold the firebase. The team goal is to earn the “Survived 5 Waves” medal on the Firebase Condor map at any difficulty with extraction not required. The reward is a Commendation Pack. Get more information here.
