Mass Effect 2′s PlayStation Network sales “meaningful”

BioWare issues workaround for Mass Effect 2 on PS3, patch coming soon
Earlier this week, Mass Effect 2 producer Jesse Houston asked players having save corruption issues with Mass Effect 2 to post their issues in the game’s error discussion thread. This was so the team could find out where the problems were occuring and start working on a fix. Today, BioWare has issued a workaround while the patch is being worked on.

Report: Mass Effect 2 PS3 save files easily corrupted [Update]
A number of posts on the Bioware forums suggest PlayStation 3 owners are suffering from failed Mass Effect 2 save files, resulting in loss of progress and data across all playthroughs.

Argos selling Mass Effect 2 for £7.99, Gamestop drops to €6
In what has to be the bargains of the century, UK retailer Argos is stocking the 360 version of Mass Effect 2 for the ridiculous price of £8, while Gamestop.ie (via Savygamer) has dropped its knickers as far as €6.

Mass Effect 2 requires 4.5 GB install on PS3
Mass Effect 2 hits US PlayStation 3 consoles today, but unless you’ve managed to wheedle a copy ahead of street date you won’t be firing it up at midnight. You’ll need to factor in some sandwich time for the game’s 5.3Gb mandatory install.
