EA’s lost Marvel game revealed in discovered footage, see it here
Marvel and EA had teamed up for a string of fighting games back in 2005 – perhaps you recall Nihilistic Software’s Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects? – but only one game came out of the deal. There was another game in the works, and footage of the unnamed title has appeared in the wild. It shows off some menus and character art that has a very Marvel Vs Capcom 3 vibe. Judge for yourself below.

Deadpool game in the works at High Moon and Activision
High Moon Studios and Activision have a Deadpool game in the works, as the website for the game is set to officially launch in five hours. See here. This may be the game High Moon is set to announce at Comic Con today during the Marvel panel. Of course, it also has Hit Monkey in the works, so both may be revealed in full today. Activision to announce new Marvel game at Comic Con
Activision has announced its plans for San Diego Comic-Con. If you plan on attending the event, you may which to have a look below to find out what is in store for you. The firm also plans on announcing a new game in the Marvel franchise during a panel on Saturday, July 14. We’re assuming its Hit Monkey.

Marvel Heroes to use Unreal Engine 3
Gazillion has licensed Unreal Engine 3 for its upcoming MMO, Marvel Heroes. According to studio director Jeff Lind, the choice of tech comes down to the engine’s flexible actor components, which have enabled “all kinds of customisations”, while other representatives praised the lighting and quick import of pre-existing assets. Epic seems pretty chuffed about it, with licensing manager Joe Kreiner noting the team grew up with Marvel characters. That is all. The MMO has not been dated.

Marvel seeks video game partner for The Avengers
The new movie adaptation of The Avengers is looking pretty good, shaping up for a cinematic release in the middle of next year. However, the video game tie-in isn’t doing so well, following the recent closure of both Australian THQ studios, who were developing the game.
Now, because you can’t have a movie without a game, Marvel Comics is looking for a development partner to work on a new licensed rendition.
