Activision drops “Fusion” from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

If you watched the new trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 we posted on Friday you may have noticed at the end of it that the word “Fusion” was no longer in the title — and for good reason: it’s been removed.
A spokesperson for Activison confirmed the name change when contacted by Evil Avatar saying:
“The title previously announced was a working title, and they decided to go with simply ‘Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2′ for the name.”

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion trailer shows super-war

Superheroes everywhere. Acitvision’s got into the Comic Con spirit by releasing a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion trailer, and very super it looks too. After the break.
The action RPG will be high on the list for super-fans, what with its warring superheroes, super effects and ability to combine powers.
No firm details on this, but PS3 and 360′s a given. No date.

First Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Fusion trailer and hands-on hit web
IGN’s published the first hands-on with Activision’s Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Fusion from Comic Con. The action-RPG isn’t sounding like the most thrilling thing in the world. From the article:
There’s no question that I have some doubts about Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2′s ability to deliver the needed advancement from the first game, but if the art style is any indication than the gameplay should be just fine. The thought of combining hero’s (and multiple heroes at that) abilities is enticing, but most Marvel fanatics will likely need a bigger leap after over two years of waiting.
First trailer after the link.
