In honour of a brave fan, Riot Games is running a special promotion for League of Legends. Until 10:30AM PDT on May 18, both Jax and the Jaximus skin will be on sale at 50% of the regular price. All proceeds from the promotion will be sent straight to Make-A-Wish, which helps cancer patients stay positive by granting wishes. Check out Riot’s announcement for more details.

Next time you’re browsing the App Store, check out the work of Flip Flop Games. This iOS developer is a one-man show, and the man in question is an 11 year old. But wait! It gets better. Develop reports creator Conner Haines has launched a scheme called BElieve to make games based on ideas submitted by children with cancer, and donate all the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish foundation. Haines works in Game Salad, and expects to turn submissions into working titles within a few months of receipt. His major personal project, Take Me Back, is due in 2013.
